On behalf of our Mayor, City Council Members and Staff of City Hall we welcome you to our site.

The City of Slocomb operates under the Council form of municipal government, with a Mayor and five Councilmembers, all of whom are elected at large for two year terms.  The Mayor presides over all meetings and calls special meetings.  The Town Council as a whole  sets Town policy, enacts laws and adopts the Town budget each year.

Emergency Preparedness, Be Informed, Make a Plan, Build a Kit

Knowing what to do before, during and after an emergency is essential to your  safety and property protection.  Making a plan for your family and home will help protect you and those you love.  Communicating the plan is important too.  Build a disaster supplies kit will put you a step ahead and in a better position to manage a disaster.  Be sure to pack water, food, blankets, flashlights, medications and other necessities.  For more information on basic emergency preparedness activities you should undertake, visit FEMA or Red Cross.
